About the fabric
Tissue takes its shimmer from a metallic weft woven into the fabric. This is a semi-silk blend, stated plainly on every page. Sourced from Golghar market in Varanasi, chosen each season by the founder.

Diwali, receptions, sangeet and engagement functions. Purple is a reliable wedding-guest colour — festive, and nowhere near the shades a guest is traditionally asked to avoid.
Styling
Antique gold and kundan sit naturally with purple and gold. For the blouse: gold, deep wine, bottle green or black. Avoid an exact purple match, which reads flat in photographs — go a shade deeper into plum if you want tonal.
Care
Dry clean for the first two or three wears, then cold hand wash with mild liquid detergent. Never machine wash. Lay flat to dry in shade, never hang wet silk. Perfume on skin only.
