About the fabric
Tissue takes its shimmer from a metallic weft. Ours is a semi-silk blend, stated plainly, and sourced from Golghar market in Varanasi.
Which occasions this suits
Mehendi, daytime festive functions, Navratri and puja. Yellow is one of the nine Navratri colours.
An honest word about haldi. Yellow is the traditional haldi colour, but haldi ceremonies get physical and this is a zari saree. If you want yellow for haldi itself, our cotton and georgette sarees are the sensible choice — save this one for the mehendi.
Styling
Bottle green, deep teal and wine all contrast well against yellow. Antique gold picks up the zari. Avoid orange and red, which sit too close to yellow to read as contrast.
Care
Dry clean for the first two or three wears, then hand wash cold with mild liquid detergent. Never machine wash. Lay flat to dry in shade — pale colours show sun fading soonest.
