About the fabric
Tissue gets its shimmer from a metallic thread woven into the weft. Ours is a semi-silk blend and we do not describe it as pure silk or pure tissue, because it is neither. The silk is sourced from Golghar market in Varanasi, where the founder selects fabric directly from weaver families each season.
Of everything we carry, tissue photographs richest — it picks up indoor and artificial light in a way that reads better in a photograph than it does standing in daylight.

Diwali and festive evenings, receptions, engagements and party wear. Gold is also one of the safest gifting colours across ages.
Styling
Keep the blouse solid and simple — tissue is already the statement. Deep wine, bottle green and black all contrast well against gold. Pearl or antique gold jewellery, one clear piece only. Over-accessorising tissue is the most common mistake we see.
Care
Dry clean for the first two or three wears, then hand wash cold with a mild liquid detergent. Never machine wash. Never hang wet silk — lay it flat in shade. Apply perfume to skin, not fabric.
