The metallic effect is woven into the weft rather than printed or coated on. This is a semi-silk blend and we say so on every page — it is the reason a saree with this finish costs ₹2,550 here rather than several times that.
Sourced from Golghar market in Varanasi, selected by the founder from weaver families she buys from directly each season.

Evening receptions, sangeet, Diwali and party wear. This is a saree for artificial light — it is deliberately more than a daytime function needs.
Styling
With a metallic body, the blouse should be flat and solid: black, deep wine, bottle green or navy. No prints, no second metallic. One piece of jewellery only. Hair tied or half-up so the pallu stays visible.
Care
Dry clean for the first two or three wears, then cold hand wash with mild liquid detergent. Never machine wash. Lay flat to dry in shade. Perfume on skin only — alcohol tarnishes metallic thread permanently.
